My dream

I had a weird dream the other night. I dreamt that I went to IKEA in Glasgow and you were there, giving tours to new university students. Then me, my mum and a couple of other people were sat in the IKEA cafe (but not in Glasgow this time, it might have been Bristol) and I realised that this IKEA store didn't have "pick your own vegetables". So I did a search on the computer in the cafe (like the ones they have to see where the furniture is in the warehouse) and I found out that they had "pick your own vegetables" in IKEA Glasgow, so I said "We can go to Glasgow and pick our own vegetables and see Sarah-Louise!!". Then I woke-up.

I'm odd, just thought that you might want to know!

My weekend

I had quite a relaxed weekend (Sunday and Monday). On Sunday I sat around for most of it and did not alot. Yesterday, we went to Staples then came home and relaxed. I continued with the sorting of the music on my computer yesterday, too. It is much better organised, I can tell what I have to listen to!

I wore a t-shirt today because I have a rash on my arm and Mum said that she thinks that it might be because I wear jumpers all the time. So, I bit the bullet (Is that the right phrase?) and put on a t-shirt this morning and now I am cold.

Why are Monday's so bad?

This Monday was a bit mad. All flat tyres, garages and stuff. It still feels like I am spinning!

Just an update.

I washed my hair this morning. It smells really nice now.

I think I have found a driving instructor. Not sure, but I think I have. I just need to pass this wonderful piece of information to whoever will be paying for my lessons!

All that I really have the time to write today, sorry.

Grrrr!

Today it is Tuesday. The day after Monday, but the day before Wednesday. But this Tuesday is different. It was raining :( ... But now the sun has come out :) And there is a car parked outside with the sun reflecting off of it's windows into my eyes. Grrrrrr!

"I can't see!". Nothing more than that.

Just a random Monday.

My eye sore didn't come to anything, although on Friday night I used some Optrex on it and I think it helped.

I managed to eventually finish my book, The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, and now I am reading Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult. So far it seems to be good, but I haven't actually managed to get that far with it at the moment. Only about 70-ish pages yesterday afternoon/evening.

I woke up with such a headache yesterday, it was unbelievable. Capped with the fact that I started to feel down and depressed too plus I started to feel like I wanted to self-harm again. Yesterday wasn't such a good day.

I am feeling slightly better today, although I did wake up feeling rather low. I have been looking into intensive driving courses and driving lessons. Because I need to take my test (and pass) before August otherwise I shall have to retake my theory test. Plus I want to learn to drive to gain some independence. I am bored of doing nothing at the weekends and I want to travel.

Blogging is my main way to procrastinate!

I am blogging again. And I have nothing to really write about. It never changes.

The plumbers came into the shop yesterday, to re-connect the sewerage pipe from the flat upstairs. The whole place was covered in dust. It was almost like a snow storm.

I have very nearly finished my book. The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. It is a good book. It's just that I have been reading it for so long. Six months-ish! Eeep! I have just had an awful lot on my plate at the moment so I have not had much time for reading coupled with the fact that I find I can't read too much of the book at one time because the subject is quite heavy (I don't know how else to describe it). Also, there is the fact that I only seem to read in bed and I fall asleep!

I have stopped knitting the 'secret' for the time being. Just because with plumbers in I didn't want it to get all dusty, and I wanted a chance to relax in front of the TV, so I left it for a while. I may do some more tonight.

I am getting a sty. My eye has been so sore today, it feels like somebody has suck a pin into it. Ouchie! I'm going to go because of this. It hurts too much :(

How to waste a weekend in 4 easy steps.*

*no steps to follow, though. It's just a catchy title I'm afraid :(

I did nothing over the weekend. Not that much anyway. I knit mainly.

Yesterday, I sorted out the music that I have on my laptop. I named tracks, organised folders, deleted tracks I no longer wanted etc. etc. etc. Now I feel a lot better and there is a bit more space on my computer.

Finally, I did a test. I am not sure what it says about me...

My master plan

This morning I cleared a load of programs that I never use off of my laptop. Since then, it appears to be working a lot faster and better. I have had my laptop for a year now. It doesn't seem that long, although, by the scratches and marks you would swear that it was an antique! (oh and by the way that it rattles!). I did nearly knock it off the table this morning though. I went to stand up and knocked the table, my laptop was nearer the edge than I thought. Oops! I caught it though.

I have been reminiscing the past few days and I realised that, although towards the end I wasn't really enjoying it, I miss my old college. I miss the people, I miss the lecturers, I miss the surroundings, I even miss the bus in the morning and evenings (apart from the germs!). I also miss the subjects that I was doing, and I don't think that I will get a chance to study them again. Like Media Studies, I really enjoyed it, but I don't ever see myself studying it again, and that makes me feel slightly upset. I think this all comes down to me saying to my self "did I waste two years of my life?". The answer I am not sure of.

Pah! I'm sure that you don't want to hear me go on and on.

I have been watching this today http://www.ifilm.com/video/2709639. It is funny!

Not that it is important, but, we had Subway for lunch. Yay! It has been ages since I have had Subway and as I was going over to the Post Office, I called into Subway on the way back and got us lunch. I had toasted chicken tikka. I'm going to stop going on about food now, I'm making myself hungry.

I am knitting my blog at the moment. What? No! That's not what I meant to say. I meant to say that I am knitting at the moment, as well as writing in my blog.

I am also working on a secret project, but all will be revealed in time (if it works out). I actually have many secret projects at the moment, so many it is getting hard to keep keeping them under my hat!

I voted!

I went to vote today (for the first time). I will have to vote again in June (one of the candidates died and the election was postponed).

I was browsing the internet today and I found this blog - http://freakytrigger.co.uk/author/pete/. So, if you want to giggle, look here, here, here and here. I found some of it rather funny, quite a good way to spend a lazy Thursday, reading funny blogs!

Just this for now, the computer is behaving all odd. I think it has run out of memory!

It seems a trifle odd...

...I don't know what I am doing at the moment!! But then again, do I actually know what I am doing at any other time?

This was the joke of the day today:

Are you allowed to kiss a nun?
Yes, but don't get into the habit!

It made me giggle a bit.

This is all for today.
