My GCSE results...

I finally got them. They were not as bad as I thought they would be.

I got:

General Studies - B
Mathematics - C
Media Studies - A (I'm shocked! I got an A!!!!!!)
Psychology - D
Sociology - D

I am really chuffed with my results. When added with my results from last year which were:

English - C
English Literature - C
Geography - B
ICT - GG (Double Award)
Mathematics - D
Science - UU (Double Award)
Statistics - E

I have 1 A, 2 B's, 3 C's, 3 D's, 1 E, 2 G's and Science which was ungraded (U) so doesn't appear on the certificate.

I am really, really happy. I can do AS levels next year! Whoopee!

Not really got alot to say. I think I am going to go and calm down.

Ellie Lawson CD

My Ellie Lawson CD arrived today!! Yipee! I am listening to it at the moment. It is muchos good. You can find out more about Ellie Lawson here: www.ellielawson.com

I finally managed to finish my book (White Teeth by Zadie Smith). It took me long enough to read it. It was a good book, but it just had so many important small sentences that I had to be really awake and alert to read it.

Sarah-Louise has gone on holiday. Somewhere in Wales. I shall be socialising with myself for the next two weeks.

I am getting incresingly nervous about my GCSE results. I just want to know how I did. In one way, I want it to be Thurday now, but in another, I want it to never be Thursday. Once Thursday has been and gone, I won't remember what all the fuss was about.

This is a random title!

Sarah-Louise got her AS level results. She passed them all, which is good. She got an A in Maths and C's in Media and Sociology. She is still waiting for her A2 Maths result.

I am bored at the moment. I went out driving this morning and did a three-point turn. While I was driving through Sainsbury's car park an old man walked out in front of the car. There must have only been about 1 cm between him and the car. It was scary. I thought that I was going to kill him.

I didn't finish my book last night. By the time I had watched Lost, I just needed to sleep, so I went to bed. I will probably try and finish it in a moment. I only have 20 pages left.

Only one week until I get my GCSE results. It seems weird to be going through the same feelings that I went through last year. The wait for GCSE's. It does feel longer than a year has passed though. If I don't get the grades that I want I could do them again next year, although I am not sure that I would want to. If I didn't get what I wanted, I would probably take a break for a few years, then go back into education after that time had passed.

I hope I do get the grades that I want though. I liked some of the people in my tutor group. And I was the oldest. With a birthday in April, I am never the oldest, not that it matters really, but it is just something to be.

I'm going to go and read my book now.

A week and 1 day until I get my GCSE results

I went to Sarah-Louise's yesterday. That was fun. It's good to get out once in a while. That sounds like I never go out, but what I mean is that I hardly ever go anywhere socially that often apart from to Sarah-Louise's house.

We watched a DVD. Sidewalks of New York. It wasn't that bad. I want to re-watch it. I think it will make more sense if I do.

I made myself fajitas (is that how it is spelt?) for dinner. The chilli that I used was too spicy for me, so I just took out the Quorn pieces that I added and ate them in the tortillas.

I had a driving lesson today. Drove on a dual carriageway again plus a three-point turn and reverse parking. I think I didn't do too badly. Hopefully it won't be too soon before I can do my test.

Sarah-Louise gets her AS level results tomorrow. Good luck! I'm sure that she will do fine and pass them all.

My results come out next Thursday. Eeeep! I am not sure how well I will do. I am sure I will probably have passes in General Studies, Maths and Media, but I am not that sure about Psychology and Sociology. Oh well. I shall just have to wait and see what is inside the envelope next Thursday.

The third episode of Lost is on channel 4 at 10pm. I can't wait to watch it. I want to know what happens.

I am going to relax in bed now. Toodle-pip!

4 weeks 'til college term starts

I'm sat at my Grandad's eating Quavers and drinking the Mocha Chino soya milk shake I just made.

I have nothing to do today. I'll probably read my book in a moment.

4 weeks until college starts again. 4 WEEKS! I've already been off for 6 weeks. I suppose it will go quite quickly though. It usually does.

I'm just worried about my GCSE results. I only need 2 this year, to add to the 3 that I already have, then I can do AS Levels.

I didn't do an awful lot yesterday. Sat at home and chatted to people on MSN. I never seem to do alot on Sundays.

This is a waste of time. Writing this today. I have nothing to write. Oh well.

Cricket... in the park!!

None of my friends are up yet, so I am bored, although I can't believe that I am up this early. SEVEN THIRTY! On a Sunday too.

Yesterday we (Mum, Dad and I) went to Cricket in the Park. We all got really daft straw hats, they were giving them out for free. They are actually rather funny. Also managed to blag 2 more for my Grandad and Aunt. I wonder if they will like them. I shall have to post a photo of my funny hat soon.

Bought a paper there too (a newspaper, not a bit of paper). Came with loads of free stuff like a CD, a guide to Bristol and a copy of War of the Worlds. It also had some other stuff with it but I can't remember what.

The cricket was rained off so they were just showing highlights of last weeks cricket on the screen. When it started to rain we went shopping, but didn't buy anything because I had no money.

We all went for lunch at the Chinese Buffet Restaurant. Was nice, especially as I had wanted Chinese food for the past few days.

I still have 2 chapters 'til I finish my book. I hope I do finish it later today. I have been reading it for over a month. It has taken me ages to read.

Anthony won Big Brother. Sometimes I wonder why people bother. In my opinion he was the dullest person in the world. He just hadn't really done anything major that made him appeal to me. Oh well, life still goes on.

Oooops! I forgot about it!

I had forgotten about my blog here, which is a rather stupid thing to do.
